Maokong Gondola uses a system that monitors the gondola towers simultaneously in three dimensions-underground(underground borehole inclinometer),ground level(tilt plate),and high altitude(superstructure incline dislodgement monitor),This system helps guarantee the stability of the Maokong Gondola structure and its safe operation, and allows us to react immediately in the event of a emergency.

High altitude—Superstructure incline dislodgement monitor

Monitors tilt variations of upper tower structure.

Ground level—Tilt plate

Monitors tilt at ground level and makes regular readings of the tile angle.

Underground- Underground borehole inclinometer

Monitor landslip or displacement under the tower base.
